Property owners must file a written notice of protest before May 15 (or 30 days after their notice was mailed, whichever date is later).

After this day, a 7% penalty will be assessed on the delinquent portion.

A 15% penalty is assessed on the unpaid balance of the tax account.

A 18% penalty is assessed on the unpaid balance of the tax account.  Additionally, the account is sent to the county attorneys for collections and an additional 20% collection fee […]

Chief Appraiser certifies appraisal roll by July 25.

CLOSED:

Tax bills are mailed on Oct 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.  All statements generally go out by the end of the month.
