Statements are sent out every October for the current year’s tax. The final date to pay the tax levy without penalty and interest is January 31st. Penalty and Interest start February 1st, unless you are under a payment agreement.

The Quarter-Payment Plan is available to qualified Residential Property Owners who have a Homestead with one of the following exemptions:
At least one-fourth of the total bill must be paid by January 31st and a formal agreement must be filed with the Tax Office each tax year.

This payment type is available to Taxpayers with a residence homestead for which the owner has been granted a homestead exemption and has not entered into an installment agreement with the collector for the taxing unit in the preceding 24 months.
The agreement can be for a period of 12 – 36 months. The property owner can enter into this agreement on any delinquent taxes. The current taxing year cannot be included in the agreement unless they are delinquent. The current year’s taxes become delinquent on February 1st. This payment agreement stops all regular penalties and interest and accrues a 1% interest rate monthly. Please contact our office to see if you are eligible for a Residential Payment Agreement.
